Motorbike in Thailand. How to ride it, so as not to get into an accident
I'd like as much as possible people to read this text. It is very important. It is the quintessence of the rules by all my friends, how to drive a bike in order to avoid being caught in a traffic accident in Thailand.
1). Be attentive on the road all the time. This concerns especially those, who travel for quite some time and turn the automatic pilot on. Remember, people make mistakes. Do not be distracted by your thoughts, keep control of the road. Statistics show that most alarm time is the experience of driving a bike from 8 months and more.
2). Don’t think about the bad. If you see caricatures of terrible pictures of accidents and falls, it’s better to stop and change your thoughts to more positive ones. Think for yourself a phrase that will soothe you, for example, "I am safe on the road," and pronounce it before you start driving.
3). Don’t rush. A safe speed is equal to 60 kilometers per hour, at this speed you can react to the most interference. No event is worth your safety.
4). Be careful with sand and wet asphalt. Sand is one of the most common reasons for the falling. A turn + braking on sand = 99 % falling. Watch out for that! If you see sand on the turn, it is better to slow down beforehand.
5). If you drive after a car on the road, keep the edge of its body. If it brakes sharply, you have a chance to move out sideways.
6). Be careful with cars, parked on the roadside. Bypass them with reserve. Thais often open the door sharply. In addition, if you are bypassing a moving scooter, also leave it a place on maneuvers.
7). Under the traffic regulations in Thailand, motorbikes must be pressed against the left side of the road, there's often a stripe drawn. If you need to overtake a car, it is done from the right, so that the driver noticed you. In addition, the road on the left is often in poor condition.
Have a good road and take care!
